Most admitted students receive full tuition waiver and stipends. In addition, there are multiple scholarships available for international students:
● Sinotech Inc. Scholarship
★ In order to select students from the Department of Environmental Engineering, CYCU to apply for the Sinotech Inc. Scholarship Regulations (hereinafter referred to as the Scholarship), these guidelines have been established.
Number of scholarships and amount of scholarships: 1 for each semester, each of which is NTD 30,000.
★ Apply Qualification:
1. Enrolled in the master’s program of the Department of Environmental Engineering, CYCU.
2. Completed at least 20 credits of the Department of Environmental Engineering, CYCU.
(The course named “Seminar” is included in 20 credits above.)
3. At least 20 credits of graduate courses in the our Dept. must be completed.
(The above credits include at least 3 capstone courses of our Dept.)
4. No course grade less than 70 points in the previous academic year.

● FOREST WATER ENVIRONMENTAL ENG'G CO., LTD Foreign Short-term Research Scholarships
★ To encourage the PhD students who study in Dept. of Environmental Engineering CYCU to attend overseas seminars or short-term research abroad, FOREST WATER ENVIRONMENTAL ENG'G CO., LTD donated the scholarship.
★ Amount of Scholarship and Application Category: The total amount of scholarship is NT$100,000 per academic year. The students must have priority in applying for grants from Ministry of Science and Technology or other units of CYCU. The total amount of received by the student shall not exceed the maximum amount stipulated by the Ministry of Science and Technology.
- The maximum subsidy for each applicant to attend a seminar abroad is NT$15,000.
- NT$30,000 per applicant for short-term research abroad for more than three months.
★ Apply Qualification: The PhD students under the teacher of Dept. of Environmental Engineering.

● Tai & Chyun Associates Industries, Inc. Scholarship
★ Tai & Chyun Associates Industries, Inc. (hereinafter the "Tai & Chyun") aims to encourage the students research- especially for graduate students who are directed by the professor of Dep. of Environmental Engineering, CYCU (hereinafter the "Dep. of BEE"), donates the Scholarship to Dep. of BEE.
★ Scholarship recipients who applied for short-term research to Tai & Chyun OVERSEAS location will be given up to NT$30,000.
Scholarship recipients who applied for short-term research to Tai & Chyun TAIWAN location will be given up to NT$15,000.
The Scholarship recipients above can’t apply for other subsidies from Dep. of BEE.
The maximum amount of scholarship is NT$100,000 per academic year.
★ An applicant must meet all of the following criteria:
1. Go to Tai & Chyun to do short-term research for 1 month on the 1st winter vacation.
2. Priority Order: Southeast Asian Graduate Students, Southeast Asian Undergraduate Students, Taiwanese Graduate Students and Other National Graduate Students.

● TAIWAN ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING ASSOCIATION Scholarship
★ Number of scholarships and amount of scholarship: 2 PhD students who is in the 2nd grade of Dept. of Environmental Engineering of CYCU from member countries of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (hereinafter referred to as ASEAN). each of which is NT$20,000.
This scholarship can only be awarded once per person during the same degree of study.
★ Apply Qualification: To conduct thesis research related to recycled water or high value waste treatment technology. (You can confirm to your advisor.)
